A fire crew were called out when a car engine caught fire on the M25 between junctions 11 and 10, Chertsey to Wisley, on Wednesday July 30 at 9.08pm.
The fire crew, from Chertsey fire station in Addlestonemoor, put out the blaze with foam.
Midnight walks are becoming synonymous with fundraising at Hospices and normally they are women only events.
The Princess Alice Hospice is always looking to do something different and that is why the first Princess Alice Hospice Midnight Walk will be open to men, women and children over 14 years of age.
The White Lodge Centre put Barclays bank staff throught their paces on July 24.
A team of 15 business managers from in and around Staines donned their wellies and got their hands dirty sprucing up a garden at the centre for disabled children and adults in Holloway Hill.
A fire appears to have taken place in Bourne Meadow Park off Free Prae Road, Chertsey, at the weekend.
It is not clear whether it was started deliberately but a large patch of scorched earth is now clearly visible close to the wooden bridge over the River Bourne.
A snake was seen swimming in the Thames at Penton Hook on Sunday July 27.
St John's ambulance volunteer Ray Pennock saw the reptile - about 75cm long - when he was in the service's safety boat on his way to the Staines regatta, and said it was following a rowing boat.

Children aged between six and 12 are invited to Chertsey Museum in Windsor Street tomorrow (Thursday) to make lion puppets from 11am.

Friends and family of a mum who died suddenly in November have bought a gadget for St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, in her memory.

It will always be in standby in the physiotherapy gym at St Peter's Hospital.
More than 80 swim members and volunteers attended this year's Runnymede Dolphins Garden Party.
Social isolation can be a big problem for people with disabilities, but not for Runnymede Dolphins members, who meet at Woking pool each week for group physio and swimming sessions as well as attending the numerous social events the charity volunteers organise throughout the year.
