roshnis-restaurant.jpgChertsey's newest Indian takeaway was given the seal of approval by the Mayor of Runnymede on Friday September 5.

Cllr Jim Broadhead officially opened Roshni's Express in Windsor Street, which is owned by Staines restaurateur Gurdeep Chatha.

Mr Chatha, who has taken over the shortlived Fajitia Fresh premises, told the Herald his aim is to open Indian restaurants at a rate of one a year for the foreseeable future.

As a lover of Indian food I wish Roshni's well. I hope it's around a while longer than Fajita Fresh which was there before. I went in a couple of times and found the food nice, if a bit pricey. But a couple of weeks after opening it closed suddenly without explanation. Anyone know what happened?

Hi

I guess you are talking about Fajita fresh being closed down? Roshnis Express is still going strong.

Great Food
