BOXERS at The Biz were hard at work on Monday evening in preparation for a charity tournament that will take place next month.

The event will be held at Spelthorne Leisure Centre in Knowle Green, Staines, on Saturday February 4 and will include around 12 to 15 bouts.

Most of the boxers will be from The Biz, which is based in Chertsey Road, Addlestone.

The fight night has been organised by the gym in conjunction with the Mayor of Spelthorne, Councillor Sam Budd. All of the money raised on the evening will be split between The Biz and the mayor's charities, Spelthorne Young Voices, The Penrose Club and reStore.

Dr Brian Perry from The Biz, said: "Everyone is really looking forward to this evening of boxing. Hopefully, we will raise a lot of money for charity."

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children and are available from The Biz or from the mayor's office on 01784 446275.
