TWO toddlers were found dead in the boot of their mothers car on Wednesday when she drove into a police station to report an incident.
Fiona Donnison, 43, from Lightwater drove into a police station in Heatherfield East Sussex on Wednesday were Police found Elsie, 18-months, and Harry, 3, Donnison in the boot of Mrs Donnisons Nissan.
Mrs Donnison has been arrested under suspicion of murder and is currently in a psychiatric hospital.
SINCE the beginning of December police in Runnymede have held several bike theft awareness days in an attempt to drive down bike crime in the area.
In recent months Runnymede has been hit by a spate of thefts resulting in a rise in the number of stolen bikes across the borough.
A FAMILY were left shaken after a brick was thrown through their window and flammable fluid was poured through their letterbox.
A grandmother, mother and grandaughter who live together in a house in Colonels Lane, Chertsey were seriously frightened after a vicious assailant launched an attack on their house at around 8.40pm on Friday evening.
The women were uninjured and were comforted by police officers for a number hours before they left their home to stay with friends for the night.
Runnymede Neighbourhood Inspector Roger Nield said: "The family has no idea why someone would do such a thing.
"It is possible that the person in question got the wrong house.
"Police stayed with the victims for some time and patrolled the area until 4am.
"We would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on Friday night to get in touch with Surrey Police."

An extra 200 police officers could be seen walking around the streets of Surrey in the near future.

A Chertsey man has appeared in court facing two charges of possessing extreme pornographic images.
Matthew Adam Jones, 34, of Bridge House, Bridge Wharf, Chertsey, faces three counts of possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying a sexual act with a dead or alive animal.
He has also been charged with possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying a sexual act likely to cause injury.
Jones also faces three counts of downloading an indecent photograph or pseudo photograph of a child.
He appeared at Woking Magistrates Court on Thursday October 22.
The case was adjourned and he will return to the court on December 17.
A 25-year-old man from Chertsey has been charged with dangerous driving after his car was in collision with a house last month.
Dominic Tamblyn, of Barker Road, Chertsey, has also been charged with driving without a licence, driving without insurance and failing to stop following an accident, when he answered bail on Tuesday (29).
Tamblyn was arrested following a collision in St Ann's Road on Monday August 17, when a green BMW left the road and collided with the garage wall of a house.
He is due to appear at Woking Magistrates Court on October 15.
Police entered a home in Guildford Street last Tuesday in response to a call made by a woman who claimed she had been assaulted by a man that was known to her.
Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Chertsey.
He has been bailed until October while enquires continue.
AFTER being short staffed since March the Chertsey police team is back up to four officers.
